Рідна Школа є Українською Суботньою Школою для дітей дошкільного та шкільного віку. Вона була заснована більше 25 років назад з метою навчити своїх учнів української мови, історії та культури. Штат Школи складається з 5 досвідчених вчителів та директора, що активно співпрацюють з дієвим Батьківським Комітетом. Рідна Школа при активній допомозі батьків готує декілька заходів протягом року, таких як Halloween Party, Christmas Program, Taras Shevchenko Program і Mothers Day.
Рідна Школа працює протягом навчального року, починаючи з першої суботи після Labor Day і закінчуючи підсумковим пікніком після Memorial Day. Уроки проводяться кожної суботи з 9.00 ранку до 1.00 після полудня з перервою на перекуску.
Рідна школа в Лос-Анджелесі, Inc приймає студентів любої раси, кольору шкіри, національного та етнічного походження, і усі права, привілеї, програми і діяльності в цілому, що надаються студентам в школі доступні кожному. Ridna Shkola is the Ukrainian Saturday School for kindergarten and up school age children. It was established more than 25 years ago with the mission of teaching our own young ones the Ukrainian tongue, history and culture. The staff of the school consists of five teachers plus a director, all of whom work in concert with the Parents’ Committee members. Ridna Shkola with the active involvement of the parents presents several performances throughout the year: Halloween Masquerade, Christmas, Taras Shevchenko’s Memorial, and Mother’s Day.
The Ridna Shkola academic year begins right after Labor Day and culminates with a graduation picnic around Memorial Day. Each Saturday the school opens at 9 am and ends at 1pm with a half hour snack break.
